Ann Gittleman, CPA, CFF, CIRA, ABV, Esq. is a managing director within Duff & Phelps' Disputes and Investigations practice. Ann focuses on clients in the financial services industry. Specifically, Ann is involved in providing expert forensic and dispute assistance in fraud, white collar matters, U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), investigations, internal investigations, international asset tracing engagements, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) reviews, purchase price and post-acquisition disputes, accounting and auditor malpractice matters, damages, financial advisor in U.S. Bankruptcy and assisting companies with complex accounting matters and financial statement restatements. She has over 20 years of forensic accounting experience during which time she led substantial international projects in the U.S., Europe, the Caribbean and China.

Marisa Abernethy is a Director for the Governance, Risk, Investigations and Disputes practice. She focuses on providing forensic and dispute assistance in fraud and internal investigations, white collar investigations, and accounting and auditor negligence matters and related Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) guidance and damages. She has worked on U.S. regulatory investigations involving the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Department of Justice (DOJ), and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB). Furthermore, she has a background in forensic accounting, asset tracing, commercial disputes, commercial damages and lost profits analysis. Ms. Abernethy also has extensive experience in purchase price and post-acquisition disputes.
